About the role

Role overview

You will work as a Senior Frontend Engineer (JavaScript / React), designing, developing, and maintaining client-side components and user interfaces for software applications. You’ll collaborate with the team to shape technical decisions while delivering high-quality, accessible user experiences.

Responsibilities

Conceive, develop, and maintain scalable React applications and reusable component libraries
Participate in technical discussions and architecture decisions within the team
Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests following TDD principles
Contribute to performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design

Requirements

7+ years of professional front-end development experience
Strong expertise in modern web application architecture and the React ecosystem
Proficient with JavaScript/TypeScript and React (Hooks, Context, Router)
Experience with state management: Redux, Zustand, TanStack Query
API integration experience: REST and GraphQL
Strong CSS skills (e.g., CSS Modules, Styled Components, Tailwind) and build tools (Webpack, Vite)
Testing experience: Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, Cypress
Knowledge of performance, accessibility (WCAG, ARIA), and design systems (e.g., Storybook)
Comfort with Git and CI/CD
French and English communication skills; thrives in a remote environment
Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and product/user-centric mindset
