Role Overview

Senior Frontend Engineer (Remote - US only)

Join Holistiplan to expand access to and improve the quality of financial planning. You’ll work across a Vue.js codebase—extending legacy features and building new ones—while owning outcomes with autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features across the Vue.js application in collaboration with Product Managers and Designers
• Debug and resolve production issues with the support team
• Participate in code reviews and provide/receive constructive feedback
• Make architectural decisions using your engineering experience
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders to align scope and direction
• Take end-to-end ownership of your code and its impact on the user experience

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional JavaScript development
• 3+ years with modern JavaScript frameworks
• 1+ year of professional experience specifically with Vue
• Proven ability to independently deliver features from concept to production
• Strong communication skills with an “early and often” approach
• Comfortable working in existing (including legacy) codebases

Nice to Haves

• SaaS or FinTech experience
• Experience with Bootstrap-Vue or Tailwind CSS
• Understanding of financial planning concepts (or ability/willingness to learn quickly)

Technical Environment

• Multi-page JavaScript application using Vue.js
• In-house design system: native JavaScript, HTML, CSS; Bootstrap-Vue; Tailwind CSS (coming soon)
• Backend: Python Django RESTful APIs
