About the role

Role overview

Join Grafana Labs as a Senior Frontend Engineer working with the Grafana Alerting squad. You’ll help manage alerts and scale alert ingestion and delivery, with an opportunity to influence the team roadmap and mentor teammates.

Key missions

Contribute actively to the team’s roadmap and deliver new features.
Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems, focusing on reliability, performance, and availability.
Mentor and support teammates; participate in design discussions and collaborate cross-functionally.

Requirements

Experience with Redux Toolkit and RTK Query (RTKQ) for state management and HTTP requests.
Experience with the Grafana UI library and the Saga design system.
Strong React and TypeScript experience.
Styling with Emotion for React components.
Testing with Jest, React Testing Library, and MSW (unit/integration) to ensure code quality.
Experience with Webpack as a bundler.
Tooling experience with Prettier, ESLint, and similar tools for automated formatting/linting.

Nice to have

Familiarity with Grafana’s monorepo approach, including NX and Yarn for workspace management.
