About the role

Role Overview

Join Grafana Labs as a Senior Frontend Engineer in the Grafana Alerting squad. You’ll help manage alerts and work on scaling alert ingestion and delivery, with opportunities to influence the roadmap and contribute to Grafana’s open-source culture.

Key Missions

Contribute to system architecture and design for distributed alert ingestion and delivery.
Collaborate with the team to deliver new features, then iterate based on results.
Mentor and support teammates; participate in design discussions and work closely with the squad.

Requirements / Profile

Strong frontend styling sensibility with React components.
Experience with React and TypeScript.
Work with Grafana UI (grafana/ui) and the Saga design system.
Comfortable working in a monorepo (using NX and Yarn for workspaces).
Experience with Prettier and ESLint (and similar tooling) for automated code styling.
Testing experience with Jest, React Testing Library, and MSW.
Experience with Webpack as a bundler.
Experience with Redux Toolkit and RTK Query (RTKQ) for state management and HTTP requests.

Open-source mindset and eagerness to shape the team roadmap; you don’t need to meet every requirement to apply.
