Senior Frontend Engineer

Role Overview

You’ll be a Senior Frontend Engineer building and scaling high-quality user interfaces for a product-focused platform. You’ll own features end to end, partnering closely with designers, product, and engineering teams to deliver polished, performant, user-friendly frontend experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build robust, scalable user interfaces from high-fidelity designs and evolving product requirements
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality product experiences
• Own features end to end (from design review through production rollout)
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for reliability and maintainability
• Break down complex product/technical problems into clear, actionable tasks
• Contribute to and evolve frontend architecture and design systems
• Partner with backend/infrastructure teams to define APIs and data contracts
• Mentor engineers via code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Champion frontend best practices across accessibility, performance, and security
• Work in a fast-paced environment focused on continuous delivery and improvement

Requirements

• 5–7 years building modern web apps with TypeScript and React
• Strong experience with state management patterns and modern frontend workflows
• Proven ability to write clean, reusable, well-tested code
• Experience collaborating with designers and cross-functional teams
• Strong focus on user experience and intuitive interface design
• Hands-on experience with Figma (or similar design/prototyping tools)
• Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud (preferred)
• Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization, accessibility, and security
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States

Nice to Have

• Experience with node-based graph or data visualization libraries
• Background working on complex, interactive frontend applications
• Experience contributing to large-scale frontend systems

Compensation & Work Setup

• Base salary: $180,000+ (plus equity)
• Fully remote for candidates based in the San Francisco area
