About the role

Senior Frontend Engineer

Build and scale high-quality user interfaces for a modern, product-focused platform. You’ll own features end to end, collaborate closely with designers and product teams, and help shape frontend architecture and developer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build robust, scalable frontend UI from high-fidelity designs and evolving requirements
  • Own features end to end (design review through production rollout)
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality product experiences
  • Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for reliability and maintainability
  • Break down complex product/technical problems into clear, actionable tasks
  • Evolve frontend architecture and contribute to design systems/component libraries
  • Partner with backend and infrastructure teams to define APIs and data contracts
  • Mentor engineers via code reviews and knowledge sharing
  • Champion frontend best practices: accessibility, performance, and security
  • Work in a fast-paced, continuous delivery environment

Requirements

  • 5–7 years building modern web applications with TypeScript and React
  • Strong experience with state management patterns and modern frontend workflows
  • Proven ability to write clean, reusable, well-tested code
  • Experience collaborating with designers and cross-functional teams
  • Strong UX focus and ability to design intuitive interfaces
  • Hands-on with prototyping/design tools such as Figma
  • Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud (preferred)
  • Deep understanding of frontend performance, accessibility standards, and security practices
  • Strong communication skills and interest in mentoring

Nice to Have

  • Experience with node-based graph or data visualization libraries
  • Experience working on complex, interactive frontend applications
  • Experience contributing to large-scale frontend systems

Location / Work Authorization

  • Fully remote for San Francisco Bay Area-based candidates
  • Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required

Compensation

  • Base salary starting at $180,000+
  • Equity participation
