About the role

Role Overview

You’ll help deliver significant customer value through CDD Vault by improving the frontend architecture and building usable, efficient solutions to both technical and product challenges.

Responsibilities

Build and evolve core CDD Vault frontend capabilities, including:
- An Electronic Lab Notebook (using the Slate editor framework)
- An interactive stoichiometry table
- New visualization tools for exploring relationships between chemical structures and biological activity
- Tools for managing and visualizing biological entities
Improve application architecture and maintainability.
Write maintainable code with strong test coverage.

Required Skills

Significant experience building complex frontend applications.
Ability to solve problems elegantly and deliver highly usable user experiences.
Strong frontend engineering fundamentals and test-driven mindset.

Ruby on Rails (supporting ecosystem)

Education

Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience.

Location & Employment

Remote eligible or based at the office in Burlingame, California.
Full-time, permanent.
Work eligibility: United States.
