Senior Frontend Engineer

Role Overview

Senior Frontend Engineer to build and maintain high-performance web applications. You’ll be a lead voice in an agile team, driving technical excellence while bridging sophisticated design with maintainable, testable implementations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications with a focus on performance and stability
• Write testable, readable, efficient code; raise engineering quality through standards
• Integrate frontend apps with GraphQL and REST APIs (clean separation of concerns)
• Own complex development tasks and deliver in alignment with sprint commitments
• Conduct thorough code reviews and drive process improvements
• Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product owners to deliver strong UX
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to unblock teammates
• Partner with Scrum Master and Product Owner to align delivery capacity with product goals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of professional software development with heavy frontend focus
• Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Proven experience with Vue (preferred); React or Angular acceptable
• Strong testing experience (e.g., Jest, Vue Testing Library, Cypress) with a commitment to TDD
• Proficiency consuming APIs with both GraphQL and REST architectures
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and deploying frontend apps
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern release workflows
