About the role
Role Overview
Clockwork Systems is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer / Software Engineer with strong data visualization skills to build interactive visualization platforms for complex infrastructure data.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to rapidly prototype and implement interactive, scalable visualizations.
- Build bespoke visualizations that communicate complex infrastructure data to network engineers and other stakeholders.
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of visualization dashboards across front-end and back-end systems.
- Stay current with data visualization trends, design patterns, and tooling to continuously improve the platform.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and HTML, plus back-end programming experience with Go and Python.
- Significant experience creating custom data visualizations.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Vue and visualization tech such as SVG.
- Experience with D3.
- Familiarity with high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
- Experience with cloud/container technologies such as Kubernetes and Azure.
Compensation & Benefits
- Expected base salary range: $140,000 - $210,000 (annual), varies by skills and experience.
- May include stock options/equity awards and a comprehensive benefits package (e.g., catered lunches).
