About the role

Role Overview

Senior Frontend Developer (Frontend Lead) for an Austin, TX onsite W2 contract (12 months, potential extension). You will lead front-end development initiatives for scalable, high-performance web applications and collaborate closely with product, architecture, and backend teams.

Responsibilities

Lead front-end development initiatives using Vue.js 3
Design and develop responsive, scalable web applications
Create intuitive UI experiences using modern design principles and UX/UI practices
Integrate frontend applications with Java/Spring Boot REST APIs
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and backend engineers
Optimize application performance and responsiveness
Conduct code reviews and mentor engineering teams
Deploy applications using Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes
Follow best practices for testing, automation, and maintainability

Requirements

8–10+ years of front-end development experience
Vue.js 3 (required)
JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
Experience with REST APIs
Strong UI/UX principles
Strong debugging and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes
Build and automation tools
Strong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms
