About the role

Role Overview

Senior Frontend Developer (React) for a 12-month engagement with UST.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, responsive, high-performance web applications using React
Implement reusable UI components and maintain coding standards
Build and test web applications; translate user requirements into application design
Define application objectives and functionality and align design with business goals
Develop and test software, including debugging technical issues
Produce detailed design documentation and assist users with documentation
Develop multimedia applications
Continuously improve personal/professional skills

Requirements

8+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS (required)
8+ years hands-on experience with React.js, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and Git (required)
Experience writing unit tests (e.g., Enzyme, Jest, Mocha) (required)
Background in Scrum/Agile development methodologies
Ability to deliver on multiple competing priorities with little supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience

Nice to Have

Gitflow
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Continuous Integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or TFS
