Senior Frontend Developer (React)

Role overview

Codekeeper is hiring a Senior Frontend Developer (React) to build and maintain user interface components for its web application. You’ll work closely with Design and the broader Product team to deliver robust, maintainable, and high-quality front-end features.

Responsibilities

• UI/UX development: Build new user-facing features and create reusable component libraries.
• Code quality & feasibility: Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, optimize for speed and scalability, and maintain coding standards.
• Collaboration: Partner with design and backend teams; participate in code reviews.
• Maintenance & optimization: Maintain and improve existing codebases and ensure standards via peer reviews.
• Automated testing & quality assurance: Own automated testing by writing/maintaining test scripts using Cypress/Playwright/Storybook (and similar visual regression tools).
• Design-to-code: Convert complex Figma designs into CSS/JS (primarily React-based).

Requirements

• 5+ years JavaScript experience (core concepts).
• 5+ years TypeScript experience.
• 5+ years React + Single-Page Applications (SPA).
• 3+ years HTML5 and CSS3.
• 3+ years GraphQL and Apollo.
• 2+ years modern CSS development (CSS/SCSS/Less/CSS-in-JS).
• Strong experience with visual regression and automated testing tools: Cypress, Playwright, Storybook, Chromatic (or similar).
• Experience with Ant Design or Tailwind CSS.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, service-minded approach.
• Fluent in a Europe (CET ±1) working region/timezone.

Nice to have

• Data visualization frameworks (e.g., Chart.js, Google Charts).
• AWS experience.
• React Native experience.
