Senior Frontend Developer

Role Overview

Senior Frontend Developer (Remote) for a 12+ month engagement. This role involves partnering with clients, design, and management while delivering React-based UI features and tests, with mandatory daily use of Claude Code as part of the delivery workflow.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients to clarify requirements and communicate needs.
• Adapt to changing work settings; analyze work details carefully.
• Act as an interface between the team and management; set targets and expectations.
• Assign tasks fairly based on skills and preferences; lead the team execution.
• Participate in application development and deliver commitments on time.
• Engage in discussions with the design team using sufficient design knowledge.
• Use Claude Code to scaffold/refactor React components and to write React Testing Library tests.
• Diagnose front-end issues and assist with API integrations.
• Convert design/requirement notes into working UI code quickly and with review.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with JavaScript and React (React.js).
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end fundamentals.
• Experience writing unit tests with React Testing Library; familiarity with JSX.
• Strong English communication.
• Experience working in an AWS environment.
• Initiative-taking, ownership mindset; able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Working experience using AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, or similar.
• Mandatory: Hands-on, daily proficiency with Claude Code (Anthropic), including running from terminal and via IDE (Cursor, VS Code, or JetBrains) using the Claude Code extension.
• Ability to plan and execute multi-step work: plan mode, edits across many files, run tests/commands, review diffs before applying changes.
• Familiarity with Claude Code subagents and MCP connectors to integrate with systems like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, databases, and cloud.
