Senior Frontend Developer

Role Overview

Senior Frontend Developer for a remote-first, globally distributed engineering team. You’ll build high-performance, security-focused web applications supporting critical digital financial workflows such as identity verification (KYC), compliance processes, and platform interactions.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain frontend components for high-scale web applications, ensuring performance, responsiveness, and reliability.
• Build new user-facing features using agile development and iterative delivery.
• Contribute to KYC/compliance-focused web applications for both end users and internal teams.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, maintainable UI architectures integrated with backend APIs.
• Optimize application performance for real-time experiences under high traffic and growth.
• Partner with designers and engineers to deliver strong, intuitive, responsive UI.
• Debug complex frontend issues using browser tools (network inspection, breakpoints, performance profiling).
• Apply domain logic related to compliance workflows and regulated user scenarios.
• Participate in technical discussions to improve frontend architecture, scalability, and engineering standards.

Requirements

• Strong/senior experience as a Frontend Developer on complex web applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one major frontend framework (e.g., React or Vue).
• Solid UI/UX knowledge: responsive design and component-based architecture.
• Experience building scalable, high-performance web apps, including real-time or data-intensive features.
• Strong API integration and frontend-backend communication patterns.
• Knowledge of frontend security best practices for sensitive/regulated environments.
• Advanced debugging and performance optimization using browser developer tools.
• Ability to work in agile, fast-moving teams with strong ownership.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to reason about complex business logic.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills in distributed teams.

• Experience with regulated fintech, security, and/or distributed systems (mentioned as an exposure area).
