About the role

Role overview

Senior Frontend Developer for Cupid Media, joining a high-impact remote engineering team. You will help shape modern, scalable web applications that improve user journeys, performance, and interface quality, while collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams.

Responsibilities

Develop modern, responsive, high-performing web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS
Build intuitive, seamless UIs across desktop, tablet, and mobile
Influence frontend architecture and recommend improvements to existing systems
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and server-side logic
Partner with UX/UI designers to turn concepts into polished interfaces
Perform code reviews and promote clean, maintainable, well-tested code
Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization for speed and scalability
Troubleshoot production issues and deliver timely fixes
Mentor junior developers and foster continuous learning and technical excellence
Work with senior leadership to evaluate ideas and improve product delivery

Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Frontend Developer (or similar) in web or mobile product environments
Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and modern CSS methodologies
Hands-on experience building applications with React
Experience with Tailwind CSS for scalable, maintainable UI systems
Knowledge of frontend security principles, including OWASP practices and CORS
Experience with Git and collaborative workflows using GitHub
Proficiency with browser/device debugging tools
Familiarity with Jira (bug tracking / project management)
Understanding of modern component-based frontend architecture patterns
Excellent communication and proactive problem-solving
