About the role

Role overview

Senior Frontend Developer for a remote-first, venture-backed gaming startup. You’ll shape and ship the frontend experience for a highly engaged, growing user base—owning features end-to-end from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities

Build and ship responsive, performant web features using a modern frontend framework (Svelte/SvelteKit preferred, React or Vue acceptable)
Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement high-fidelity designs
Review code, shape frontend engineering standards, and promote best practices
Design and deliver user-facing components that can scale to support thousands of concurrent users
Own features end-to-end: concept → implementation → deployment

Requirements

4+ years of professional frontend engineering experience
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
Experience with Svelte/SvelteKit (preferred) or React/Next.js or Vue/Nuxt.js
Ability to implement designs from Figma with precision and responsiveness
Familiarity with:
- Vite
- Tailwind CSS
- REST APIs
- Git/GitHub
- Frontend testing frameworks such as Vitest or Jest
Strong communication skills in a fast-paced remote-first environment

Nice-to-haves

Experience in gaming, fintech, or other consumer-facing platforms

Interview process

Round 1: 75-minute live coding session (build an interactive web app in Svelte/SvelteKit)
Round 2: 45-minute technical conversation
Final round: 30-minute call with leadership
