Senior Frontend Developer (Angular)

Role overview

You will be a key architect of Sanoma Learning’s web ecosystem for Bingel/BingelDC, adaptive learning platforms for primary education. The role focuses on building scalable, high-performance, modular web interfaces in a modern monorepo environment for teachers and pupils.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & development: Build and maintain large-scale applications using Angular 18+ and Nx, keeping the codebase clean, modular, and maintainable.
• Reactive programming: Implement complex business logic and real-time UI updates with RxJS.
• Quality assurance: Promote a test-first approach by writing robust unit tests using Jest or Jasmine/Karma.
• Scalability in monorepo: Use Nx monorepo practices to share libraries and logic across multiple parts of the platform.
• UI/UX excellence: Deliver seamless user experiences with high-quality HTML/CSS, emphasizing accessibility and performance for children and educators.
• Collaboration & integration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate educational content from ETSL and ensure smooth data flow to end users.

Requirements (must-have)

• Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
• English proficiency: B2/C1 (written and spoken).
• Spanish proficiency: C1/C2 (written and spoken).
• Strong expertise in Angular 18+, including:
  • Signals
  • Standalone Components
  • the new Control Flow
• Demonstrated mastery of Nx monorepo (architecting and maintaining large systems).
