About the role
Role Overview
Senior UI Engineer (Angular) joining a growing engineering organization. You will build and enhance enterprise web applications, primarily with Angular, while maintaining selected React components in an existing platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Angular (v22)
- Maintain existing React components and gradually modernize the frontend platform
- Build responsive, scalable, and maintainable UI components using HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
- Consume and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs
- Collaborate with backend engineers on API design and application architecture
- Participate in code reviews and promote frontend engineering best practices
- Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to improve productivity while maintaining quality
Requirements
- 5–6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Angular (current versions preferred)
- Experience maintaining or working with React
- Advanced knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience consuming REST APIs and familiarity with GraphQL
- Understanding of secure frontend development and frontend security best practices
- Ability to communicate technical concepts across cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Experience building or integrating backend APIs
- Experience with charting / data visualization libraries
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows
- Active GitHub profile with projects or open-source contributions
