Senior Front-End Software Engineer

Role Overview

Tenna is seeking a Senior Front-End Software Engineer to design and deliver high-impact features that improve the user experience across its product suite. You’ll build polished, performant, and scalable interfaces for complex workflows, collaborating with design, product, and back-end engineering.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested front-end code and take ownership of quality and reliability
• Design, develop, and maintain robust scalable front-end features
• Prototype and turn product requirements into user-friendly, responsive UX
• Improve performance, accessibility, and usability using refactoring, tuning, and data
• Support feature rollouts using user behavior insights, monitoring, and product feedback
• Partner with QA to deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions across the product lifecycle
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies/tools to improve scalability and maintainability
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives) and continuous delivery
• Produce strong documentation for maintainability and onboarding
• Implement/maintain unit tests and participate in code reviews
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver end-to-end functionality aligned to business goals
• Work within Git workflows (branching, merge conflict resolution) and support CI/CD releases

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on software development, focused on scalable, user-centric web applications
• Proven production experience building front-end solutions with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Strong front-end architecture skills (reusable components, performance optimization)
• Experience building responsive and accessible user interfaces
• Ability to deliver end-to-end features from prototyping through deployment with a strong UX/product mindset
