About the role

Role Overview

Senior Front-end Software Engineer for Touchplan® at MOCA Systems, Inc. This is a remote position (Greater Boston-area preferred). You’ll help build a collaborative, real-time planning web application in TypeScript using Angular and RxJS/observables, with advanced UI complexity driven by asynchronous events and streaming data.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute significantly to cloud-based web applications with strong scalability, reliability, and availability.
  • Collaborate with product management, research, and engineering to deliver complex, large-scale projects.
  • Take initiative on challenging problems and drive innovative UI/design solutions.
  • Build front-end capabilities that handle many concerns typically associated with server-side logic.

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience as a front-end software engineer.
  • Angular and TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding and experience with RxJS / observables for asynchronous and streaming scenarios.
  • Demonstrated success building a complex, data-driven web app with multi-user simultaneous data manipulation.

Nice to Have

  • Full-stack experience (data storage/modeling, API design concepts).
  • Material Design familiarity.
  • Experience with Firebase services.
  • Experience with Google cloud services.

Additional Notes

  • Team uses modified Agile practices and delivers code frequently.
  • Product involves real-time collaboration and planning analytics using a Last Planner System foundation.
