Senior Front End Software Developer (AI, React, JavaScript) - Remote US

Role Overview

Senior Frontend Software Developer to build secure, performant, cross-platform single-page applications (SPAs) and widgets for Signals Notebook. You will collaborate with the team on priorities, specifications, and feature implementation, with strong emphasis on clean, reusable, testable code.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain single-page applications and frontend widgets
• Build new, high-impact functionality in Signals Notebook
• Create well-documented, reusable, testable code
• Collaborate with teammates on priorities, specifications, and feature delivery
• Integrate with server-side code to produce dynamic pages
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility
• Apply an eye for design and aesthetics to improve UI quality
• Work with frontend application architecture and structure

Requirements

• Experience building single-page applications
• Strong React component development skills
• Strong JavaScript programming skills
• Demonstrated understanding of frontend application architecture/structure
• Experience integrating with server-side code for dynamic content
• Comfort using AI tools for development
• Strong teamwork orientation and ability to collaborate across teams
• Experience with structured software development practices (design, development, testing) in an Agile environment
• Ownership mindset and entrepreneurial/creative problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• UI/UX design experience
• Life science experience
