About the role

Role Overview

Join Amber Labs as a Senior Front End / Lead Developer to independently spearhead the development and enhancement of web applications. You’ll lead frontend delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a flexible, continuously improving environment.

Key Missions & Responsibilities

Lead frontend development: build, design, and maintain robust web applications.
Review and coordinate: review code and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Implement frontend features using a primarily JavaScript/Node.js stack and Nunjucks templating.
Integrate with backend services by interfacing with Java Spring Boot microservices.
Work with NoSQL data by implementing features that interact with NoSQL databases (preferably Amazon DocumentDB).
Leverage AWS services and continuously improve delivery practices.

Requirements

Proven expertise in JavaScript and Node.js.
Experience with Nunjucks templating (preferred).
Experience implementing features in NoSQL environments (preferably Amazon DocumentDB).
Familiarity interfacing frontend solutions with Java Spring Boot microservices.
Practical understanding of AWS, including:
- IAM, SQS, S3, Secrets Management, KMS.

Nice to Have

Optional exposure to Gov.CASA frontend implementation.
