Senior Front-End Engineer (React)

Role Overview

Bluehost is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer (React) for a dedicated innovation team. The team works with senior executives and tech leadership to rapidly prototype, run POCs, and take experimental ideas to production, building the next generation of Bluehost products.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-driven, dynamic web experiences that adapt and personalize at scale.
• Create React front-end interfaces that integrate LLM-powered features (chat, content generation, smart recommendations).
• Use agentic AI systems to generate, test, and optimize UI code in real time.
• Rapidly prototype new product concepts and iterate based on user feedback (concept → prototype → production within days).
• Design front-end systems integrated with AI-powered backends and APIs.
• Own performance, scalability, and reliability of high-traffic applications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ship continuously.
• Drive innovation in AI-assisted UI generation and intelligent user journeys.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building modern web applications.
• Strong expertise in React, Redux, React Hooks, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Solid foundation in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS.
• Testing framework experience: Jest/Cypress.
• Design system/component library experience.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs and microservices-based systems.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience in high-scale SaaS/platform environments.
• Hands-on building AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong understanding of APIs, performance, and scalable architecture.
