Role Overview

Dragos is hiring a Senior Front End Engineer to join a Product Team building the leading OT Security Platform. You’ll work within a matrix-style organization—embedded in a product team while part of a broader UI Community—and you’ll focus on both architecture and mentoring, not just feature delivery.

Responsibilities

Architect and evolve scalable UI frameworks and product subsystems for the Dragos Platform
Drive UI community technical strategy and set standards for performance, testing, and maintainability
Lead cross-team initiatives to improve workflows, tooling, and platform reliability
Partner with Product and Design to align system architecture with user experience goals
Code, test, and debug critical UI applications while guiding teams on best practices
Review designs and implementations across teams to ensure technical quality
Champion accessibility, performance optimization, and user-centered design at scale
Mentor engineers and help shape the UI Community’s technical direction

Requirements

4+ years of experience with modern front-end stacks, including React and TypeScript (Redux mentioned)
Proven experience architecting scalable frontend systems and leading technical direction
Experience using AI-assisted development tools, with expectations for effective, secure, and scalable adoption
Strong understanding of performance optimization and scalable UI architecture
Strong leadership, including mentoring and influencing engineers across teams
Experience with build tools: Vite, Turbo, Rollup, or Webpack
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitbucket)
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks: Jest, RTL, Playwright

Compensation

Salary: $165,000 (plus competitive equity and comprehensive benefits)
