About the role

Role Overview

Join Beacon Biosignals as a Senior Front-end Engineer to build first-class web applications for EEG analysis, clinical study management, and at-home sleep testing workflows.

Responsibilities

Develop React + TypeScript web applications.
Design and implement UX workflows in collaboration with product designers and cross-functional teams.
Own user experience, performance, reliability, and observability for the features you build.
Identify and address optimization bottlenecks using debugging and code profiling.
Build scalable UI consumers for GraphQL-based APIs.
Contribute to the roadmap and technical direction for the web applications.

Requirements

8+ years of front-end web development (React and TypeScript).
Strong product mindset focused on UX, edge cases, and performance.
Experience building data-rich applications with interactive visualization and manipulation of large datasets.
Familiarity with GraphQL APIs and the ability to build scalable consumers.
Comfort working in a collaborative, async environment; strong communication skills.
Contributed to open source React/TypeScript projects.

Nice-to-haves

Experience with EEG or DSP.
Experience working on back-end systems or infrastructure.
Experience building applications for clinical trials, patients, or other regulated environments.
