About the role

Role Overview

Senior Front-End Developer with Maximus (TCS Technology and Consulting Services). This is a remote role that is contingent upon contract award and position availability, and it requires an Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide subject matter proficiency and support process improvement through analysis and specialized studies.
Develop requirements documents, functional models, procedures, and functional architecture.
Perform front-end engineering tasks including:
- Create technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and supporting documentation for stakeholder review (JCC2 PMO).
- Plan and implement GUI modifications.
- Construct and optimize UI elements and improve system navigation.
- Facilitate operator ease of use for user-facing features.
Lead software development programs/projects.
Prepare, conduct, and document system tests to verify operability and compliance.

Requirements

Active Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree (or a Master’s degree substituting for 2 years of experience).
10+ years in the functional area and 10+ years software development in object-oriented and scripted languages, applying tool suites related to DevSecOps, microservices, and containers.
5 years recent/relevant front-end web design and development.
5 years with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
5 years testing web-based applications.
5 years leading software development programs/projects.
Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.
5 years with Jenkins and GitLab.
5 years with at least five (5) of: Apache Ember, JavaScript, Jaguar, Java, Cricket, Node.
Demonstrated agile, user-centric application design and strong UI/UX standards.
Experience generating wireframes/mockups for multiple user personas.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using Agile Test-Driven development.
Experience integrating into DoD DevSecOps environments.
Experience with UX design tools (e.g., Sketch, InVision).
5 years of CI/CD software development.
