Role overview

Join Juniper Square as a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (Artificial Intelligence) to lead end-to-end delivery of internal AI-powered applications. You will partner with stakeholders to scope, design, build, and drive solutions into active use, owning outcomes through launch and iteration.

Responsibilities

Partner directly with stakeholders to scope work, design solutions, build, and ensure adoption
Run discovery to define product requirements, sequence delivery, and make trade-offs across scope, speed, and quality
Own products post-launch by iterating from real user feedback
Communicate progress and technical details via requirements, specifications, documentation, and stakeholder updates
Contribute learnings back to the broader AI Guild through established patterns

Requirements

4+ years shipping production software end-to-end, including hands-on AI-enabled application development
Strong product judgment: define initial release scope, prioritize features, and set completion criteria
Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders and explain technical concepts clearly
Full-stack capability across data, services, and user interfaces
Experience deploying and operating applications on a major cloud provider
Excellent written communication (requirements, specs, documentation, updates)
Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into actionable product requirements
Working knowledge of application security practices for systems handling sensitive data

Nice-to-haves

Proficiency with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Augment
