Senior Flutter Developer (Cupid Media)

Role overview

You will be a Senior Flutter Developer working fully remote (cross-functional team) to build and enhance high-performance Flutter mobile applications for a global social discovery platform.

Responsibilities

• Deliver business features end-to-end: technical design and estimation through development, testing, and production release.
• Design and implement scalable Flutter mobile applications with focus on performance, usability, and maintainability.
• Review technical specs, define solution approaches, and present architectural decisions to stakeholders.
• Write clean, modular, well-tested code and maintain quality through peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, Backend, QA, and Architecture across the development lifecycle.
• Support QA and release processes by debugging and resolving issues in pre-production/production.
• Ensure stability, performance optimization, and security on Android and iOS.
• Participate in CI/CD workflows, app store release cycles, and monitoring of live app performance.
• Maintain technical documentation and manage technical debt.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and cross-functional discussions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience with Flutter and Dart.
• Strong knowledge of Flutter architecture, widgets, navigation, and state management solutions such as Provider, Bloc, or Riverpod.
• Experience building responsive UI, animations, and high-performance mobile interfaces.
• Knowledge of mobile app lifecycle, performance optimization, and debugging tools (Flutter DevTools, Android Studio, Xcode).
• Experience writing unit and widget tests.
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD and release tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Codemagic).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON services, and authentication such as OAuth2 or token-based systems.
• Solid understanding of clean code, SOLID, and modular architecture patterns.
• Proficient with Git and Agile practices.
• English communication B2+ and Russian proficiency for documentation and collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with crash reporting tools like Firebase Crashlytics or Sentry.
• Exposure to app store deployment and native Android/iOS integrations.
