Senior Flutter Developer (Cupid Media)

Role overview

Senior Flutter Developer working on Cupid Media’s mobile apps within a fully remote cross-functional team. You will build and enhance high-performance Flutter applications that support large-scale social discovery and meaningful user connections.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of product features: technical design, estimation, development, testing, and production release.
• Design and implement scalable Flutter mobile applications with a focus on performance, usability, and maintainability.
• Review specifications, define solution approaches, and present architectural decisions to stakeholders.
• Write clean, modular, and well-tested code; maintain quality via peer code reviews and best practices.
• Collaborate with product, backend, QA, and architecture teams across the development lifecycle.
• Support QA and release processes by diagnosing and fixing production/pre-production issues.
• Ensure stability, performance optimization, and security on both Android and iOS.
• Participate in CI/CD workflows, app store release cycles, and monitoring of live performance.
• Maintain technical documentation and manage technical debt.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement discussions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on commercial experience with Flutter and Dart.
• Strong Flutter architecture fundamentals: widgets, navigation, and state management (Provider / BLoC / Riverpod).
• Experience with responsive UI, animations, and high-performance mobile interfaces.
• Knowledge of mobile lifecycle, performance optimization, and debugging tools (Flutter DevTools, Android Studio, Xcode).
• Experience writing unit and widget tests.
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD and release processes (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Codemagic).
• Experience integrating REST APIs, JSON services, and authentication (OAuth2 or token-based).
• Strong clean code and design principles (SOLID, modular architecture).
• Proficiency with Git, Agile methodologies, and collaborative development.
• English communication ability (B2+) and fluency in Russian for documentation and cross-team work.

Nice to have

• Experience with crash reporting tools (Firebase Crashlytics or Sentry).
• Experience with app store deployment and native Android/iOS integrations.
