Senior Financial Analyst

Role Overview

Senior Financial Analyst (Full-time, remote) for an early-stage AI fintech startup.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities
• Build and maintain financial models; drive revenue/expense forecasting and budgeting cycles
• Analyze financial statements and operational metrics to provide insights on:
  • performance
  • unit economics
  • product profitability
• Prepare financial reporting packages, dashboards, and data visualizations for leadership, investors, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Partner with product, data, and engineering teams to:
  • evaluate new initiatives
  • perform scenario and sensitivity analysis
  • recommend actions to improve financial outcomes
• Design/refine scalable reporting processes, internal controls, and best practices for a fast-paced startup

Requirements

• Strong finance/FP&A skills: budgeting, forecasting, and robust financial modeling
• Advanced analytics with experience interpreting financial statements for actionable insights
• Proficiency in financial reporting (management reports, dashboards, leadership metrics)
• Comfort with data tools such as:
  • Excel / Google Sheets
  • BI tools
  • SQL is a plus
• Experience in fintech, SaaS, or technology startups, particularly subscription or transaction-based models
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related field; CFA/CPA preferred
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly
