Senior Event Operations Manager

Role Overview

Join Docker as a Senior Event Operations Manager responsible for the operational execution of the company’s event portfolio. You’ll partner with the Director of Events and cross-functional teams to ensure events are delivered smoothly, consistently, and at scale.

Key Missions

• Ensure end-to-end operational execution across the event portfolio, including timelines, project plans, and execution milestones.
• Build and maintain a master event calendar coordinating timing, resources, and dependencies across programs.
• Create scalable event operations with repeatable planning models, run-of-show/playback frameworks, and operational manuals.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and event technology.
• Develop scalable operational frameworks/playbooks so event programs can grow.
• Coordinate complex programs across multiple stakeholders and concurrent events while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Lead hands-on management of vendors/agencies/production partners including contracts, budgets, and performance.
• Use AI to scale repeatable processes without compromising quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years in event management, event operations, or experiential program management.
• Proven ability to build operational frameworks/playbooks that enable scaling.
• Familiarity with event/marketing tech and data flows, including:
  • Registration platforms, lead retrieval, and mobile apps
  • How event data feeds into Salesforce and Marketo and supports lead management workflows
• Strong project management skills coordinating complex programs and multiple stakeholders.
• Experience/comfort working in fast-moving environments with shifting priorities.
• Ability to travel 35% of the time across North America (possible international travel).

Preferred

• Developer/technical/enterprise event experience.
• Background in SaaS, developer platforms, cloud, or technology companies.
