Join Upstart as a Senior Engineering Manager (Offer Delivery). You will lead engineering efforts to drive user growth and engagement through intelligent targeting, personalized product recommendations, and best-in-class offer generation infrastructure.

Key missions

• Define and implement an engineering roadmap that supports personalized, intelligent recommendations for Upstart’s user base.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product Managers, Product Marketing Managers, and Research Scientists to build a high-impact program.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team delivering high-quality solutions and continuously improving systems with each iteration.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth-oriented, product-driven engineering initiatives with measurable user impact.
• Scale offer generation and related systems both technically and organizationally.
• Drive initiatives across multiple teams within the organization.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience leading product-oriented engineering teams with quantifiable user impact.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in software development, including 3+ years managing a team directly.
