About the role

Role overview

As Senior Engineering Manager at Arbor Education, you will lead multiple engineering teams, align technical delivery with commercial goals, and help mature the engineering function. This is a full-remote position.

Key missions / responsibilities

Lead 7+ teams to deliver high-impact results, directly managing Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers.
Coach and mentor to build leadership capabilities and support professional growth across your direct reports.
Partner with Product Directors and VPs to align engineering roadmaps with commercial goals, customer needs, and technical strategy.
Contribute to the maturity of the engineering organization and embed a customer outcome mindset.

Requirements

Experience leading multiple engineering teams and managing engineering leadership (Engineering Managers/Staff Engineers).
Strong capability in mentorship/coaching and building leadership talent.
Ability to collaborate closely with product leadership to align roadmaps with business and customer outcomes.

Nice-to-haves

Demonstrated experience scaling engineering processes and improving engineering function maturity.
