About the role

Role Overview

As a Senior Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable platform infrastructure for mission-critical applications across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. You’ll lead automation for software delivery, infrastructure provisioning, and security integration in close partnership with software, cybersecurity, and customer stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for distributed, containerized, cloud-native application lifecycles.
  • Architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes platforms across AWS and other cloud environments.
  • Design and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, security scanning, deployment, and release management.
  • Implement and mature GitOps workflows for continuous delivery using GitOps tooling.
  • Deploy and support production, multi-tenant platform services for tenant application teams.
  • Maintain highly available, production-grade Kubernetes clusters aligned with security and operational standards.
  • Provide secure multi-tenant access to cloud-native services.
  • Improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency via automation.
  • Configure and maintain Kubernetes networking using Calico, Cilium, or equivalent CNIs.
  • Support observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Fluent Bit, Loki, Kibana, and related monitoring/logging tools.
  • Collaborate with security and engineering teams to integrate security across the development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5+ years hands-on experience deploying, operating, and securing production Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience provisioning, hardening, and maintaining compliant Kubernetes clusters.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, Helm, and container networking (Calico/Cilium or similar).
  • Experience operating stateful, highly available, distributed services on Kubernetes.
  • Experience with AWS (or other enterprise cloud platforms).
  • IaC experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • CI/CD pipeline configuration experience using GitLab Runners.
  • Experience with artifact repositories/build automation for distributed applications.
  • Observability/logging experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Fluent Bit, Loki, Kibana (or similar).

Location / Eligibility

  • U.S.-based position: requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Work must be performed within the continental U.S.
