Senior Engineer Platform Devops

Role overview

Senior Platform/DevOps Engineer to design, scale, and protect critical cloud-native systems. You’ll bridge infrastructure, security, and practical AI usage while operating in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve Kubernetes architectures across multi-cluster environments
• Build and improve platform foundations: networking, storage, scalability, and resilience
• Manage and standardize deployments using Helm, Kustomize, and GitOps practices
• Provision and maintain infrastructure with Terraform
• Drive performance tuning and security hardening across clusters and workloads
• Support cloud-native environments on GCP with strong architecture ownership
• Define and improve networking and security architecture for distributed systems
• Apply AI as a practical accelerator for analysis, operations, and problem-solving
• Create and maintain development/operational scripts to improve efficiency and reliability
• Read and interpret code to troubleshoot behavior, assess risks, and collaborate with engineering teams
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders to build trust and alignment

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure
• Solid understanding of security, networking, and distributed systems
• Experience with Terraform, GitOps, and infrastructure automation
• Familiarity with Helm Charts and Kustomize
• Ability to use AI beyond simple chat as a real work tool
• Ability to read and interpret code for troubleshooting and technical decisions
• Excellent communication skills and a highly autonomous, self-learning mindset
