Senior Director of Product

Role overview

As Senior Director of Product at SpotOn, you will lead and grow multiple product teams—Marketing, Guest Data, Labor, and Shared Value—driving strategy, roadmap, and execution in close partnership with the C-suite. You will also embed AI into high-leverage workflows across the organization to increase throughput and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow product teams (Marketing, Guest Data, Labor, Shared Value), owning strategy, roadmap, and delivery
• Partner with C-Suite to set direction and ensure execution across the business
• Increase organizational throughput by applying AI to workflows across Product, Engineering, Operations, Support, Sales, Marketing, and G&A
• Manage and coach Product Managers as they:
  • investigate market opportunities
  • build and adjust roadmaps based on client needs, data, and business priorities
• Translate emerging technology (including AI) into measurable business impact for customers and teams

Requirements

• Experience building and deploying AI-powered workflows in real-world environments
• Strong communication and presentation skills for audiences from SMB operators to investors and executives
• Proven ability to operate in metrics-driven environments and make decisions using data
• Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and delivering quality products
• Customer-centric mindset and ability to understand customer needs and interactions
• Ability to manage teams through ambiguity, complexity, and imperfect information
• 6+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years managing/coaching Product Managers

• Experience building internal tools or automation systems
• Startup/founder experience
• Real product examples showing use of AI
• Track record of reducing cycle times or materially increasing team output
• Restaurant experience (a plus)
