Senior Director of Product Marketing

Role overview

Senior Director of Product Marketing at ChargePoint (full remote). You will lead product marketing strategy and execution for ChargePoint’s hardware and software offerings across commercial, fleet, and residential segments.

Key missions

• Own product marketing strategy & execution across hardware and software, delivering measurable impact on revenue and pipeline growth.
• Develop and refine positioning and messaging for target customer segments; drive go-to-market strategy and end-to-end product launches.
• Build and scale a product marketing function, equipping sales teams with tools, content, and training to improve pipeline generation and win rates.

Responsibilities & collaboration

• Partner closely with Product and Sales leadership.
• Work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to ensure market-ready messaging and launch execution.
• Act as a credible industry voice for analysts, press, and customers.
• Lead, manage, and develop product marketing team members.

Requirements

• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, and Engineering.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
• Experience leading go-to-market strategies and product launches across multiple segments.
• Proven experience building and leading product marketing functions.
• Deep familiarity with EV charging, cleantech, or adjacent energy markets (buyers, sales cycles, competitors).
• Track record delivering measurable outcomes (e.g., pipeline growth, adoption, win rates).
• Background in competitive intelligence and sales enablement.
• Ability to present to analysts, press, and customers.
