Senior Director of Product Management

Role Overview

Lead the Affirm Card and Card Platform as Senior Director of Product Management. Own long-term product vision, portfolio-level tradeoffs, and investment strategy while delivering durable business outcomes across consumer experience and card platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and direct the long-term product vision for Affirm Card, including consumer experience, growth, and unit economics.
• Lead and develop a team of Product Managers/Leaders, setting product standards and decision frameworks.
• Oversee end-to-end outcomes for card products and the underlying card platform (issuance, authorization, servicing, and partner integrations).
• Collaborate with Finance and Credit to optimize profitability and risk.
• Shape investment strategy, resource allocation, and portfolio tradeoffs across multiple product areas.
• Drive alignment across senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 15+ years of product management experience, including leadership across multi-team product areas or platforms.
• Proven ability to own large domains/business lines with meaningful financial impact.
• Experience managing managers and building high-performing product teams.
• Ability to create scalable systems, processes, and product culture.
• Strong judgment on second- and third-order tradeoffs in complex systems.
• Portfolio-level operating ability—connecting product decisions to company strategy.
• Experience in payments/cards/fintech or adjacent infrastructure.
• Comfortable working across consumer-facing products and backend/platform capabilities.
• Product instincts plus rigorous, data-driven decision-making.
