Role overview

Senior Director of Engineering (MEP) — responsible for leading the engineering practice and managing MEP engineers to complete retail roll-out projects across the U.S. The Senior Director will be an indispensable executive team member with strong leadership, decisiveness, and the ability to build internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Engineer of Record for constructed projects
Develop and implement quality control processes
Sign and seal documents as required in all 50 U.S. states (registration provided)
Manage workload distribution among MEP team members
Lead the engineering department, including budget and schedules
Train MEP staff

Requirements

Minimum 15 years of experience
Professional Engineer (PE) registration (required)
Thorough knowledge of building and energy code application
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Design Master, and MS Office Suite

Preferred / Bonus

Lighting design experience
LEED familiarity
Previous retail facility design experience

Location / work setup
