Role overview

Senior Director of Engineering (MEP) (Engineer of Record)

You will be an executive team member responsible for leading ChangeUp’s engineering practice—managing a team of MEP engineers to support retail roll-out projects across the United States.

Responsibilities

Act as the Engineer of Record for constructed projects
Develop and implement quality control processes
Sign and seal engineering documents as required in all 50 US states (registration will be provided)
Manage workload distribution across the MEP team
Lead the engineering department, including budget and schedules
Train and support MEP staff

Requirements

Minimum 15 years of engineering experience
Professional PE registration (required)
Deep knowledge of the application of building and energy codes
Familiarity with LEED
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Design Master, and MS Office Suite
Ability to lead in a highly collaborative, team-based environment and quickly make decisions/changes to plans

Nice to have

Previous experience designing retail facilities
