Join Twilio as Senior Director, Analyst Relations to lead Twilio’s global Analyst Relations (AR) strategy across core and emerging enterprise technology categories.
This is a high-visibility leadership role requiring strong executive presence and deep expertise in the modern B2B enterprise technology landscape. You’ll be the architect of Twilio’s analyst strategy, maintaining leadership in established markets while shaping narratives in new and emerging categories.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision & Execution
- Set and drive global analyst relations strategy across core and emerging portfolio.
- Partner cross-functionally with Communications, PMM, and R&D to execute.
- Analyst Engagement & Advocacy
- Build and nurture trust-based relationships with tier-one analyst firms such as Gartner, Forrester, and IDC and key industry consultants.
- Lead advisory sessions, briefings, inquiries, and flagship events including Analyst Summit.
- Category & Audience Expansion
- Find opportunities to extend Twilio’s story beyond traditional coverage (reports, briefs), including educating and influencing analysts in new/emerging market spaces.
- Capture analyst insights and feed them back to the business to inform roadmap direction.
- Evaluations & Content Architecture
- Own end-to-end strategy and submission process for major analyst reports (e.g., Magic Quadrants, Waves, MarketScapes).
- Collaborate with product marketing and senior leadership to drive market positioning.
- Executive Coaching & Advisory
- Advise senior executives and product leaders on messaging.
- Prepare spokespeople for high-stakes analyst engagements.
- Team Leadership & Process Excellence
- Scale and optimize the AR function, including organizational structure, budget management, and process improvements.
Requirements
- 15+ years of B2B tech experience in areas such as B2B SaaS, developer platforms, or data infrastructure.
- Proven experience securing/maintaining leadership positioning in major analyst reports and executing global, multi-category communication strategies.
- Demonstrated executive presence and ability to influence effectively under pressure.
Nice to haves (implied by scope)
- Deep familiarity with enterprise tech analyst landscapes and report cycles across multiple categories (CPaaS, CDP, Identity, Conversational AI, and Customer Engagement Platforms).
