About the role
Role Overview
The Senior Digital Designer is a hands-on creative leader responsible for delivering high-quality, performance-focused digital experiences for a defined group of brands. Reporting to the Digital Creative Director, this role leads a small design team and acts as the day-to-day creative lead for assigned brands.
Responsibilities
Creative Leadership & Brand Stewardship
- Lead execution of digital creative strategy for a group of brands, aligned with the Digital Creative Director.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality digital design across websites, email, paid media, and emerging channels while preserving each brand’s unique visual identity.
- Serve as a creative thought partner for Brand and eCommerce teams on campaign development, product launches, and brand storytelling.
Design Systems & Standards
- Define, document, and govern scalable digital design systems, templates, and guidelines across multiple brands.
- Maintain best practices for accessibility and platform standards.
- Review and evolve brand style guidance for digital and eCommerce environments.
People Management & Team Leadership
- Directly manage and develop a small team of designers (priorities, feedback, coaching, performance support).
- Set expectations and review work for quality, accuracy, and alignment with brand and performance goals.
- Partner on talent development, resourcing needs, and creative reviews.
Design Execution & Content Creation
- Lead and contribute to digital content creation including web design, paid display, paid social, video, and animation.
- Create and oversee concepts such as wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for campaigns, site enhancements, and product launches.
- Support product and lifestyle photoshoots to ensure assets meet digital/eCommerce standards.
Performance, Optimization & Innovation
- Collaborate with Performance Marketing to improve engagement, conversion, and ROAS through creative.
- Partner cross-functionally to run test-and-learn initiatives that improve user experience and campaign effectiveness.
- Stay current on digital design trends, tools, and emerging platforms.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience delivering high-quality digital creative across multiple channels.
- Ability to manage and develop a small team of designers.
- Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility, and digital/platform standards.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Brand, eCommerce, Performance Marketing, Development, Digital Project Management).
