About the role

Role overview

Senior DevOps Engineer at Striveworks. You will take ownership of product deployments by maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing Striveworks’ on-premises and cloud environments, enabling reliable and adaptable AI operations for customers.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve software reliability, performance, and availability for multiple projects.
Use Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to manage virtual machines and deploy containers/services/infrastructure.
Deploy and operate custom Kubernetes clusters across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem or hybrid environments.
Execute technical aspects of implementation projects, including seamless integration, customization, and configuration of Striveworks software.
Partner with platform developers, other DevOps teammates, and customer-facing teams to define requirements and build solutions for customer use cases.
Perform incident response and initial triage for critical system faults.
Act as a liaison between platform developers and customer-facing teams for operational continuity.
Provide guidance and leadership to junior DevOps team members (as needed).

Requirements

Strong DevOps engineering experience focused on deployment, automation, monitoring, and incident triage.
Hands-on experience with IaC and infrastructure automation.
Experience deploying Kubernetes to cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and/or on-prem/hybrid environments.

Nice to have

Experience working with security- or compliance-sensitive environments (commercial networks and DoD/CUI/classified environments mentioned).
Experience supporting mission-critical systems and cross-functional delivery with software engineers and data scientists.
