Role Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will help streamline software delivery and improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of systems as the company scales globally. You’ll operate in a startup-style environment where engineers actively contribute and make an impact.

Responsibilities

Streamline and improve software delivery pipelines
Enhance reliability, performance, and scalability across the software lifecycle
Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices
Build and manage infrastructure and deployments using automation and IaC
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices
Apply cost-aware engineering decisions (scaling cost vs. infrastructure utilisation)

Requirements

Senior-level technical capability and strong problem-solving skills
Proven experience with GCP as a DevOps Engineer or SRE
Strong experience with Terraform and Ansible
Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, including containers and deploying via CI/CD
Ability to think commercially about scaling and utilisation
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, IPSec, HTTPS, DNS)

Nginx, PHP, MySQL
NoSQL solutions, RabbitMQ, Solr, Couchbase

Work Model

Remote-first; role is available on a remote basis.
Option to work in a fully kitted modern office near Bournemouth, Dorset.
