Role overview

Join Partnerize as a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, maintain, and optimize highly scalable and fault-tolerant cloud environments that power online marketing technology.

Key responsibilities

  • Conceive, deploy, maintain, and optimize cloud environments for reliability and scalability.
  • Build and own tooling for:
    • provisioning
    • automation
    • configuration
    • integration
    • deployment and release processes
  • Implement and manage monitoring to keep the product stable.
  • Support ongoing infrastructure operations with independent troubleshooting and analysis.

Requirements

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Linux system administration and strong network troubleshooting.
  • Operations automation and reporting systems.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve issues.
  • Experience supporting and maintaining infrastructure as part of a team.
  • Communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Calm, logical approach during critical incidents.

Nice-to-haves

  • Configuration management experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt.
  • Monitoring experience with Nagios, Catchpoint, Cacti, and Prometheus.
  • MySQL database design, replication, and administration (Percona Toolkit is a plus).
  • AWS administration: EC2, Route53, S3, Redshift, VPC, IAM.
  • Jenkins experience.
  • Ticketing/documentation: Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong documentation habits and interest in development and new technologies.
