About the role

Role Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will build, maintain, secure, and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure and the systems that run on it. You’ll automate infrastructure and application delivery, ensure reliability and performance, and help enforce security and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure
Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of systems
Collaborate cross-functionally to define and implement CI/CD pipelines
Build and manage containerized applications
Provision and support relational databases, including schema management/migrations and disaster recovery
Monitor and optimize system performance
Ensure compliance with regulatory and security frameworks

Required Qualifications

Strong AWS DevOps experience
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
Helm and Kubernetes experience
MySQL (or similar RDBMS) experience, including schema evolution, migrations, replication, and DR
CI/CD pipeline experience using GitHub, BitBucket, or Azure DevOps
Linux experience, including Bash scripting
Containerization and orchestration using Docker/Kubernetes/Helm
Git/DVCS experience (GitHub, BitBucket, Azure DevOps)
IaC tooling (Terraform or similar)
5+ years of software engineering/development experience
8+ years of cloud infrastructure experience
2+ years of Kubernetes and Docker experience
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain required security clearance

AI/ML technologies (strongly preferred)
TCP/IP networking troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump, nslookup)
Compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, CCCS)
SIP/RTP experience
Developer tooling (e.g., Artifactory, Sonar, Gradle)
Observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana, ELK)
Secure coding and security frameworks/tools (e.g., OWASP, NIST, CIS, Prisma Cloud/Twistlock, Mend/WhiteSource)
Developer ownership, strong problem-solving, and communication skills
