About the role

Role Overview

Join the Platform Engineering organization as a Senior DevOps Engineer. You’ll own and automate production deployments, improve how complex systems are deployed and operated, and help shape future platform direction (including containerized deployments).

Responsibilities

Mobile Deployment Ownership
- Own end-to-end deployment, publishing, and configuration for iOS and Android mobile applications.
- Manage App Store Connect and Google Play Console workflows (signing, provisioning, compliance).
- Automate mobile build and release processes to improve consistency and reduce manual effort.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Product, and Professional Services to ensure smooth releases.
Automation & Infrastructure-as-Code
- Design, build, and maintain Ansible automation for deployments, APIs, IIS configuration, certificate rotation, and environment standardization.
- Use Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure in a repeatable, auditable way.
- Reduce configuration drift by treating infrastructure-as-code as the source of truth.
- Create reusable automation patterns supporting both mobile and backend systems.
Application Hosting & Platform Support
- Operate and tune IIS in Windows-based production environments (performance optimization and safe restarts).
- Apply transferable web-server concepts (e.g., from Apache or Nginx).
- Support containerized workloads using Docker/Kubernetes and help guide adoption.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements for reliable, predictable deployments.

Requirements

5–8 years experience in DevOps/Platform Engineering (or related) supporting production systems.
Strong hands-on experience with Ansible.
Working experience with Terraform (or similar IaC tools).
Hands-on experience deploying iOS & Android applications.
Strong IIS experience in Windows-based production environments.
Experience supporting production SaaS platforms and troubleshooting across application and infrastructure layers.
Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, C#, or Python.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have

Experience with Progress/OpenEdge (or similar legacy platforms).
Exposure to container orchestration and platform modernization efforts.
Familiarity with authentication/identity flows (OAuth2, JWT, SSO).

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience. Certifications are a plus (not required).
