About the role

Role Overview

Senior DevOps/Security Engineer (founding hire) on Marketerx’s engineering team. You will architect the resilient, scalable, and secure infrastructure foundation for the company’s autonomous marketing platform.

Responsibilities

Design & build AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform/CloudFormation).
Automate CI/CD to deploy AI models and applications rapidly, reliably, and securely.
Implement security from the ground up, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and GDPR.
Engineer for hyper-growth: scalability and performance to onboard thousands of new customers while maintaining excellent user experience.
Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for proactive optimization and faster issue resolution.

Requirements

5+ years as a DevOps/SRE professional with a security-first mindset.
Strong AWS cloud expertise (preferred).
Containerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
IaC experience with Terraform and Ansible.
Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Nice to Have

Experience shaping infrastructure from scratch as an early DevOps/Security hire.
Deep familiarity with enterprise-scale reliability and performance engineering.
