Senior DevOps Engineer – Infra Services

Role Overview

Senior DevOps Engineer (Infra Services) responsible for implementing and supporting DNS and Kubernetes architecture in a private cloud environment. You will ensure scalability, resilience, automation, and performance optimization while collaborating with Platform and SRE teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support large-scale DNS architecture spanning private and public cloud across multiple regions.
• Implement and support enterprise DNS/management solutions, including:
  • Infoblox DDI (DNS, IPAM, DHCP)
  • Cloudflare DNS management
  • Google and AWS DNS services
• Implement and support multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters running on BareMetal servers with software-defined storage protocols.
• Deliver Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation using:
  • Ansible, Terraform/Pulumi, Python, and Bash
  • CI/CD automation for automated provisioning of DNS services
• Build continuous delivery pipelines for infrastructure updates, including:
  • patch management
  • upgrade testing
  • rollback procedures
• Create automated monitoring, alerting, and healing mechanisms using GitOps principles and observability tools (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana).
• Harden services for high availability, disaster recovery, and scale-out operations.
• Perform deep troubleshooting and performance analysis across hypervisors, storage protocols, and networking layers.
• Participate in change management, global team collaboration, and on-call/incident response (including root-cause analysis).

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years managing global DNS and Kubernetes on Linux.
• Expert experience with enterprise DNS platforms (Infoblox DDI or similar), including Bind9 and DNS services on Cloudflare, GCP, and AWS.
• Strong Kubernetes and Ubuntu Linux expertise.
• Proven automation experience using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and CI/CD.
• Strong Linux systems engineering background (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) with advanced scripting in Python and/or Bash.
• Familiarity with infrastructure stacks including hypervisors (KVM, vSphere), storage protocols (iSCSI, NFS, Ceph), and L2/L3 networking.
• Experience supporting mission-critical 24x7 customer-facing production environments.
• Ability to write technical documentation and contribute to knowledge bases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of enterprise common infrastructure services for DNS and Kubernetes.
• Security best practices for patching and security compliance (e.g., CIS, NIST).
• Background in telco, edge cloud, or large enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience building automated test environments for upgrades and DNS migrations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and relevant certifications.
