About the role

Role Overview

Huzzle is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for fully remote work with teams in North America and the UK. You will help architect and operate cloud-native, highly available infrastructure and automation systems, improving deployment velocity, reliability, observability, and incident response.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage scalable, secure, highly available cloud infrastructure
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery
  • Manage Kubernetes and container orchestration environments
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform (or similar)
  • Improve observability, monitoring, and incident response processes
  • Collaborate on release automation and deployment workflows
  • Troubleshoot production infrastructure and application performance issues
  • Support cloud security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery
  • Drive scalability, reliability, and cost optimization
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering
  • Strong experience with Linux and cloud environments
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools
  • Experience with Terraform and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of monitoring/observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK Stack
  • Scripting/programming experience with Python, Bash, Go, or JavaScript
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

  • ArgoCD and GitOps workflows
  • Networking, security, and distributed systems knowledge
  • Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/Kubernetes/Terraform)
  • Experience supporting SaaS or enterprise applications
  • Open-source contributions or technical blogging

Logistics

  • Full-time, fully remote
  • Schedule overlap with UK, US, or Canada business hours
